Patriot-ic Ending

Congratulations to the Super Bowl Champion New England Patriots. The Philadelphia Eagles gave them a scare near the end of the game, but in the end, turnovers pushed the game one direction or the other. Was it me or did the Eagles just not look like they were trying in the 4th quarter? Down by 14 with 8 minutes left in the game, I would expect them to be snappy back to the line of scrimmage (huddle or no-huddle). I just didn’t sense any urgency.

All in all, a fine defensive struggle.

Next year, aside from football, we have a 2-letter roman numeral to look forward to in the superbowl. That might be nice for the logo makers. :)

Yup, it really confused me that Philadelphia was getting back to the line of scrimmage so slowly?! In the end the turnovers were what broke their neck (impressive performance by the NE defense and bad decisions by McNabb (sometimes force by the pressure))…Congrats to the Pats…a dynasty in the making!
