I arrived home from work today to find this paper taped to my apartment mailbox. Everyone elese had one too.
Can anyone interpret this sentence — particularly the last part — for me (lack of punctuation left in place, as are all typos):
The following activities are deemed to be injurious to public health and therfore prohibited: Loud and abusive noises coming from residents or guests all hours of the day and night within and upon the property’s premises; boisterous activities; unruly and profane language; public drunkenness; overcrowding upon or near the property’s premises; use of fireworks; public urination; making of any noise of such character intensity or duration as to abe detrimental to the life, health or welfae ofa ny individual or which eithe steadily or intermittently annoys, disturbs, injures or endangers the comfort, repose, peace of safety of any individual.
WTF? What does that mean?

All it says is “Kindly STFU and be a good citizen because you might be pissing off your neighbours”.

Where in the world are you living now? Was this notice typed or hand written? I agree with Marc that the person who wrote this was either drunk or high on something. Also, Matt makes a good point concerning how you treat your neighbors… You haven’t been seen urinating in public have you???
In keeping with “The Angry Black Man” image I have so rightfully earned I will explain it in the simple.
The notice was typed by someone who was recieving pressure to hurry up and get it done and multi-tasking at the same time without concentrating on the task at hand (I know you are familiar with that Aaron).
The managment could have been getting heat from the higher ups and instead of taking a minute to make sure everything was in place the manager took out the fustration on the person instead of giving proper guidance in doing the task correctly (Sound familiar MIKE).
All in all you live in “THE HOOD” and are surrounded by a bunch of MF’s who spend time fussing, cussing, threatening people, beating the girlfriends & wives, letting their children run the streets all times of the night and there are some neighbors who are afraid and they have complained.
You also have some nosey-assed neighbors who probably have overstepped their boundries with others business.
The management is saying “We are not taking this SH*T anymore”. They are also saying the hanging out and chillin’ in front of the building anymore and the parties in the apartments will no longer be tolerated. And most importantly if you are having sex please tell your partner not to scream too loud during orgasms because others are jealous it is not them making her scream.
